<description>I enjoyed the fab class and got a lot out of it. But clearly there was too much material to cover in the time available. Not having a lot of Eagle experience, I learned a lot but I suspect that others with more experience would have been happy to move through that part faster. A separate Eagle session really is the answer. As far as the next fab class, I think you need to start with a schematic ready to go in Eagle and just cover a few particular hints about getting schematics drawn effectively. Then you can spend more time on the board layout process and what it takes to get a good design which can be produced successfully (either at a fab or by hand). This is where I felt I got somewhat lost on Sunday. And of course, the whole etching process needed some more time as well (although with a bit of practice I think I could get that part down).

I will likely try to drop in to the June 14th session for a bit to try to learn some more about board layout and etching.

Thanks for the class. It was fun.
